What is Affiliate Blogger Pro?
Affiliate Blogger Pro, also known as Rosalind Gardner's Academy, is a multi-media step-by-step training course which aims at helping beginners to set up their own affiliate marketing business.
The main training consists of 10 modules and there are multiple tutorials within each module which add up to 225+ tutorials. In total, there are 190+ video training, various articles and quizzes to assist you in learning.
In essence, this is a very detailed and in-depth training especially for beginners. They've covered most of the important aspects of building an affiliate marketing business, including...
- The basics of affiliate marketing
- How to choose your niche
- How to set up a website
- Creating content for your website
- Promoting your website/offers, etc...
So, this looks like a pretty good course so far. But let's take a look at the founder of this course.
Founder of Affiliate Blogging Pro: Rosalind Gardner
Rosalind claims herself to be the super affiliate and the "Queen of affiliate marketing". She has been making a full time living online since 1998.
Since then she has been an influential mentor and coach to help many people achieved multiple figure income online. She is also a renowned speaker at various conferences, such as Affiliate Summit Marketing Conference.
Other than that, she is also the author for two best-selling books:
Since she is one of the successful "pioneers" in affiliate marketing, her "affiliate marketing bible" has helped many people to achieve success online today.
And thus, she created this Affiliate Blogging Pro course based on her Super Affiliate Handbook (2003) to help even more people. She is charging at the price of $27 per month which shows that she is truly passionate at helping people instead of making money.
Wait a minute!
I'm not turning this into a documentary or biography. I just want to make the point that Rosalind is a very reputable and successful woman in the area of affiliate marketing. This makes her course very credible.
However, as you can see, her books and all her achievements are not recent. The world and the Internet is changing at a lightning speed and whether her resources can withstand the test of time is the one I'm more concerned about.
Let's find out whether her materials are still applicable in today's world...
Pros & Cons
The Good
1. Great Course
I'm sure Rosalind had put in a lot of time and effort in creating this course. This can be seen by how she arranged all the lessons in such a clear and step-by-step format.
Overall, the lessons are very comprehensive and beginner-friendly.
But the downside is that it is not suitable for more advanced marketers or people who have some experience. Simply because the course is too basic. It's aimed at helping complete beginners to start their own affiliate marketing businesses.
2. Reputable Founder
Like I've introduced earlier, Rosalind is a very successful and well-respected internet marketer and mentor over the past decades. So her course and content definitely has its credibility.
3. Reasonable Price & NO Upsell
This is one of the best things I like about Affiliate Blogger Pro. The price is $27 per month.
It's a really reasonable and affordable price for majority of the people. After you join the course, you won't be bombarded by upsells after upsells after upsells.
Many of the products out their costs a few hundred or even a few thousand dollars just to grant access to their platform. Not only that, they'll be offering you a lot of upsells along the way.
Some of them even have upsells up to almost $30,000. (You can take a look at Digital Altitude for this ridiculous upsells.)
4. Genuine, NO Hype!
This is another thing I really like about Affiliate Blogger Pro. Take a look at their sales page. There's absolutely no hype or any unrealistic promises. They don't promise you to make $10,000 per month without a website like what Clickbank Pirate does.
Not just Clickbank Pirate, a lot of scam products out there are also offering very bold claims and promises but those are just marketing tactics.
Unlike all those programs, Affiliate Blogger Pro is very genuine in their promotion. They tell you exactly what they does and what you'll get. They even remind you that you'll be billed $27 per month until you cancel. Some companies try to hide all these disclaimers and them somewhere unnoticeable.
5. 56-Day Money-Back Guarantee
I don't know why it's 56, not 60. But that's just what they stated regarding their money-back guarantee. This means you have almost 2 months to test out the product.
Having such a cheap product with a long refund period, I can really see how genuine Rosalind wants to help people.
6. Good Overall Rating
You can take a look at Affgadgets.com and you can find a lot of positive reviews about Affiliate Blogger Pro:
The Bad
I know Affiliate Marketing Pro is sound like a very powerful and legit program for you to invest in. But I wouldn't recommend you to invest in ABP because of the following reasons:
1. Outdated Training
Since ABP course is created in 2009 and the content is mostly based on her 2003 book, the course content is pretty outdated in today's digital world.
Let me give you some examples...
There are lessons teaching people how to:
- Use Free & Paid Directory Listings
- Post articles on Article Directories
- Buy backlinks
All these are all very outdated and no longer works today. Google and other search engines have upgraded their algorithms and doing things like buying backlinks can actually hurt your site.
Another example is the WordPress version Rosalind was using in her training. Since the training was done very long ago, she was using a very old WordPress version.
Today, WordPress has evolved a lot and the appearance of the dashboard is totally different. This will definitely hinder beginners from learning effectively.
2. No Support
They have a members forum and a private Facebook group. However, the problem is that these platforms are basically "dead" now. There's no activities going on so you can't get any real support whenever you need any assistance.
They provide Email as another channel of support, but we all know that Email support is very inefficient. You'll most likely wait a long time before you get a reply.
Other than that, there's no systematic way of getting help if you join this course. That's why I don't really recommend it today.
